In late 2019, I was approached by my life-long best friend about launching his own real estate business. The goal was to create a brand with two objectives. First, evoke a sense of trendiness, trust, and comfort among first-time homebuyers in their mid to late twenties. Second, represent North Carolina throughout the brand, paying homage to the state in which the business was founded and operates.
One of North Carolina’s official nicknames is The Old North State, referencing to 1710, when the Carolina colony was divided into two colonies, South Carolina and the earlier-settled North Carolina. North State Realty’s name was inspired by this with a modern twist by dropping the word old.
Responsive logos are designed with the intention to be flexible and adapt to proper visibility whether it’s places on a billboard or ink pen.
